Vision to Vessel: Crafting the Logo for Moonveil Alchemy

When creating a brand identity for Moonveil Alchemy, I leaned into the magical essence of the name. I wanted something that felt like it had been pulled from the pages of an ancient herb grimoire, but polished enough to live on modern labels and packaging. A brand that brews wellness with a whisper of magic.


The Mood Board:

Rooted the brand in celestial luxe meets grounded healing:

  • Moon phases and constellations

  • Velvet textures and sparking night skies.

  • A color palette that feels like a twilight garden, dark ink and gold


The Typefaces:

Whimsical serif that straddles the line between elegance and mysticism. Old-world charm with a contemporary edge.


The Process:

As always, I started with the product and some sketches! Planetary symbols, soft crescent forms, herbal motifs jumped off the page.


In Illustrator, the concept took form a moon cradled by stars, subtle curves, quiet power. We explored a few directions, but one design rose above the rest. A mark that felt hand-blended and cosmic all at once.


With each round of feedback, we refined the mood, adjusted the glow of the moon, softened the lines, and let the identity breathe.


The Result:

A brand mark that feels spellbound but strong.

Moonveil’s logo now graces their candle labels, tea packaging, and digital storefront with a sense of calm clarity, inviting customers into their ritual.
